Job Description: Will serve as the Q.E.D. Systems, Inc. Watercraft Project Manager (WPM) managing and overseeing all Watercraft projects, involving the maintenance, repair, alteration, testing, troubleshooting and prototyping of Boats and Watercraft and their associated systems and support equipment. Specific responsibilities will include project estimating and planning, project manning and scheduling, the coordination of material procurement, required project travel, project logistics and staging, boat transportation, and OEMs and subcontractors. The WPM will serve as the primary company POC for reporting project status and progress; managing and directing all Boat and Watercraft Project Teams, and providing technical oversight and customer interface. The WPM will be responsible for managing all aspects of project costs, schedules, and quality assurance, including compliance to specifications, standards, and regulations.
Job Requirements/skill sets: Must have a minimum of 20-years of experience in ship and boat design, acquisition, testing, prototyping, construction, maintenance and modernization, including at least 10-years of experience specifically relating to small boats and watercraft. Boat and Watercraft experience must include operation, trouble-shooting, maintenance and repair, testing, and prototyping boat systems and support equipment. Must have at least 5-years of experience managing and supervising project teams and projects.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma required. OEM certifications a plus
