Job Description: Individual will serve as the Q.E.D. Ship Availability Manager for a U.S. Navy contract. Contract requirements will include Ship Change Documentation Support (SCD), Ship Checks, Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), Configuration Management, Logistics Support, Ship Availability Planning, and In-service Engineering Agent (ISEA) support. The Q.E.D. Ship Availability Manager will report directly to the Q.E.D. Deputy Program Manager (DPM) and will be responsible for Ship Availability planning, scheduling, and coordination.
Job Requirements/skill sets: A minimum of 10-years of experience in ship availability management is required. Experience must include LCS and/or Surface Combatants, Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), Navy Modernization Process (NMP), Navy Data Environment (NDA), and Navy Ships Engineering Drawing Repository (NSEDR).
Education Requirements: High School Diploma
Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and/or be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
