Job Description: Individual will serve as the Q.E.D. Logistics Manager for a U.S. Navy Yard contract. Contract requirements will include Ship Change Documentation Support (SCD), Ship Checks, Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), Configuration Management, Logistics Support, Ship Availability Planning, and In-service Engineering Agent (ISEA) support. The Q.E.D. Logistics Manager will report directly to the Q.E.D. Deputy Program Manager (DPM) and will be responsible for managing and overseeing all LCS Planning Yard logistics requirements, including configuration management, ships technical documentation, technical manuals, and material provisioning.
Job Requirements/skill sets: A minimum of 12-years of experience in managing depot level U.S. Navy surface ship modernization and maintenance logistics products, including Logistics Management Information (LMI), Provisioning Parts Lists, Design Change Notices (DCN), Ship Level Provisioning Parts List (SLPPL), Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), Component Identification Data (CID) for Statement of Prior Submissions (SPS) & Advance Repairable Identification Code (RIC), Interim Support Items List, Engineering Data For Provisioning (EDFP), and IUID processes/procedures. Must be able to access, use, and upload data to the Navy Ship Engineering Drawing Repository (NSEDR) and Navy Data Environment (NDE).
Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree
Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and/or be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
