Thorough knowledge in EHS regulations (examples include but not limited to OSHA, EPA), consensus standards, and customer specifications, with specific addition focus on maritime standards.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

The candidate is responsible for managing waterfront support for all phases of a Navy CVN Aircraft Carrier contract associated with the Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH) maintenance planning process.   • Provides management of technical services and logistics support to accomplish advanced planning on behalf of AITs in an RCOH availability.
  • Develops, approves and monitors milestone schedules for planning product development.

Job Requirements/skill sets:

 

·         Must be familiar with working in a SUPSHIP/Naval shipyard environment including both planning and engineering organizations.

·         Excellent communication and writing skills and the ability to resolve conflicts.

  • U.S. Navy CVN Aircraft Carrier maintenance experience preferred.
  • In-depth experience in ship modernization and maintenance practices is strongly desired.
  • Experience with ship maintenance providers including SUPSHIP/naval shipyards and regional maintenance centers desired.
  • Experience with planning and meeting required prerequisites for performing work on Navy Ships.

Education:
